Mono Ammonium Phosphate 12:61:00

Mono Ammonium Phosphate 12:61:00

Mono Ammonium Phosphate (MAP 12:61:00) is a very potent, water-soluble fertilizer, sending 12% Nitrogen (N) and 61% Phosphorus (P). Phosphate fertilizer is extensively in use for crop cultivation specifically at the early stages of their growth for better root formation as well as initial establishment. MAP suited for fertigation, foliar spraying and as foundation phosphorus supply in soil-based programs. It has a low nitrogen (N) content that prevents the plant from becoming too leafy.

Benefits

  • High Phosphorus Content
  • Has 61% phosphorus, vital for root growth, flowering, and fruiting.
  • Balanced Nitrogen Supply
  • The 12% ammoniacal nitrogen is enough to support the initial growth and vegetative vigor of the plant.
  • Improves Root Development
  • Great for initial plant growth to build good root systems.
  • Water-Soluble and Fast-Acting
  • Absolute water-soluble fertilizer facilitating nutrient absorption in fertigation or foliar sprays.
  • Versatile Application
  • Calculating Weight suitable for all soil types, compatible with fertigation systems and foliar application methods
  • A great option for seedlings and transplants
  • Aids in vigorous root establishment in young plants, seedlings, and transplants for rapid growth.
  • Enhances Flowering and Fruit Set
  • It promotes early flowering, reduces flower drop, and helps with fruit set to increase fruit yield.
  • Safe and non-hygroscopic
  • Easy to store and handle without caking; will not absorb moisture.
  • Minimal Soil pH Impact
  • MAP is slightly acidic, which enhances phosphorus availability in alkaline soils.

Uses

  • Mono Ammonium Phosphate (MAP 12:61:00) is widely used in agriculture and horticulture for targeted phosphorus application:
  • Root Development
  • A substance that is applied to the early developing stages of crops to significantly enhance shoot and root growth and plant establishment.
  • Seedlings and Transplants
  • Promotes good root-root establishment in nurseries and newly transplanted crops.
  • Flowering Stage
  • Encourages early and prolific flowering, minimizes flower drop and promotes fruit set.
  • Crop-Specific Applications
  • Vegetables: Tomatoes, onions, potatoes, chilies, carrots, and leafy greens.
  • Fruits — citrus, bananas, pomegranates, apples, grapes and melons.
  • Grains and Cereals: Wheat, rice, maize, barley.
  • Oilseeds and Pulses: Groundnut, soybeans, gram, lentils
  • Cash Crops: Cotton, sugarcane, tea, and coffee.
  • Fertigation
  • Drip-applied to maximize phosphorus movement into the root zone.
  • Foliar Spray
  • For foliar applications to amend phosphorus deficiencies when the crop plants are in critical growth stages.
  • Soil Application
  • Used as basal fertilizer that provides phosphorus and nitrogen in soil-based cultivation.
  • Pump up your productivity with hydroponics and controlled environments
  • Commonly used in greenhouses and hydroponics for accurate nutrient application.
